On April 23, 2007 the MVK Mobile polar museum organized its first exhibition devoted to “NP-1” at the North Pole and then opened it in Moscow.

Massive Success of MVK Museum in Rostov-on-Don

On October 10, 2007 MVK Mobile Polar Museum was opened in Rostov-on-Don. This outstanding event aroused great interest in the city. The opening ceremony was visited by 700 people among whom there were Don Cossacks.

Mobile Polar Museum Opening in Rostov-on-Don

On October 10-14 the Mobile Polar Museum will be working in Rostov-on-Don. It is devoted to the 70th anniversary of the 1st drifting polar station and polar flights of Gromov and Chkalov to America. The centerpiece of the Polar museum exposition was formed by two tents.

The Mobile polar museum started the ball rolling out of the capital

Pupils of school 171 in Yekaterinburg for the first time clearly expressed themselves in the role of journalists at a press conference marking the opening of the Mobile polar museum.  The Mobile polar museum worked in Yekaterinburg from 26 to 28 of September. The museum was created by the International Exhibition Company, MVK and is dated to the 70th anniversary of the two heroic expeditions: the first Soviet drifting station, the North Pole-1 of O. Schmidt and I. Papanin, and flights by V. Chkalov and M. Gromov over the North Pole.

The Akademik Fedorov Heads for Murmansk

The organization works of the research station “NP-35” are finished, and on September 21st the formal opening ceremony took place. The first meteorological report from the station was transmitted to Roshydromet.
