The MVK Polar Exhibition: patriotic museum. Timetable
The MVK expedition has opened the world’s first exhibition at the North Pole.Two two tents – a copy of Papanin and one in colors of the Russian flag – became the center exhibits at the mobile polar museum. The museum is dedicated to the landing on an ice floe first drifting expedition led by G. Schmidt and I. Papanin and the legendary flights over the North Pole of Chkalov’s and Gromov’s crews. The museum includes 300 exhibits. Materials are provided by the Russian museums and the polar explorers’ relatives. Recently, the polar museum has worked in the State Duma. Its opening has attracted a lot of people – MPs, members of the Duma, as well as journalists. The exhibition was highly appreciated by the deputies and polar explorers.
The museum, The Role of History in life and business, within a year will visit major cities in Russia and abroad. The exhibition participants and visitors to the MVK exhibitions, which is more than a million people are welcome to visit the museum. The entrance to the museum is free.
