The new MVK project is now supported by the state!

On March 27, 2007 the author of the project “North Pole – new opportunities for success in life and business” Alexey Shaburov met the Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation on Matters of International Polar Year Artur Chilingarov.

During the meeting Mr. Shaburov and Mr. Chilingarov discussed the details of the project’s realization, inclusive of the first exhibition at the North Pole. They agreed to broaden the project’s subject with the aim to scrupulously describe life and activity of the modern “Papani’s” and representatives of Russian business circles who promote non-standard large scale events. It was also accepted to include MVK’s new project in the program of the International polar year for it to be used as a source of popularization and promotion of the polar researches among the wide audience, as well as an information resource on the international cooperation of Russia in the field of Arctic and Antarctic exploration.

In the end of the meeting Mr. Chilingarov offered to include MVK into the Interregional public organization “Association of polar explorers” which was accepted with alacrity by Mr. Shaburov. Very seldom commercial organizations have a chance to enter into such honorable organization.
